30-year-old LilyAnn Lyon – an attorney who quits her job after an insulting slight during a corporate retreat in Miami Beach – needs an escape to figure out what to do next. Impulsively, she rents a room in a gorgeous and exclusive Art Deco building in Miami where she ll lay low for the summer. In an awkward rooftop bar run-in, she meets Ben Romero, a writer and MacArthur genius who happens to also be staying in the same building.   After their initial meeting, there doesn’t seem to be much in common between the two until they discover a mutual love of romance novels.They form a romance book club that’s soon attended by almost the whole building and become sort of love gurus to their neighbors while oblivious to their own feelings. When their bookish tweets get them a podcast deal, they have to figure out if this is what they really want and, most importantly, if they see a future together outside this one, blissful summer.
